The Civil Forfeiture Grant Program provides one-time funding to organizations that support eligible victims of crime and targeted crime prevention initiatives across Nova Scotia. The program is funded from the disposition of forfeited property seized by law enforcement agencies.
Funding Streams
Victims of Crime Stream: Supports organizations providing services to compensate and assist eligible victims of crime across Nova Scotia.
Crime Prevention Stream: Funds targeted crime prevention initiatives that address community safety issues and reduce criminal activity.

Important Program Notes:
The Civil Forfeiture Grant Program is a discretionary, non-entitlement program with limited funding allocation. Projects that meet all program criteria may not be approved for funding due to funding limitations.
Applicants must certify that the local Police Governance body has been advised and is in agreement with the proposed project.

SNAP Program (Halifax Regional Municipality): Evidence-based program providing children aged 6-11 displaying serious disruptive behaviour and their families the power to make better choices for lasting change (HRM, $49,750)
