Description

Intact’s Climate Resilience Grants support at-risk communities across Canada in delivering practical, implementation-ready adaptation projects that reduce flood and wildfire risks and strengthen local resilience.

The program funds projects that address a specific climate hazard and deliver measurable community benefits. Projects should identify the risk being addressed, explain why it is a priority, demonstrate project readiness, and outline activities, milestones and measurable outcomes.

The Municipalities and Partnering Organizations stream supports eligible municipalities and partner organizations delivering local adaptation projects. Indigenous communities, governments, Nations and Indigenous-led or mandated organizations must use the separate Indigenous stream application guide.
