Description

Affordable 360's Predevelopment Feasibility Cohort Program provides no-cost feasibility support and software access to non-profit housing providers, municipalities, and faith-based organizations developing affordable housing projects across Canada. The program is funded by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and Canada's Tech for Housing Challenge (CTHC).

Selected cohort participants receive comprehensive predevelopment support for a site of their choice, including planning and zoning review, 3D massing and early design, preliminary construction cost estimates, and training in AI-powered predevelopment software. Participants gain free continued access to Affordable 360 software following completion of the cohort.

The program operates on a cohort model, accepting applications several times per year for group training and support sessions.

Program Components

Planning & Zoning Review: Professional review of planning and zoning regulations applicable to participant's site of interest, conducted by educated planners on staff

Preliminary Construction Cost Estimate: Initial cost estimates for proposed affordable housing project to support feasibility assessment and funding applications

Training in AI-Powered Predevelopment Software: Hands-on training in using Affordable 360's cloud-based mapping and analytics platform for ongoing project development needs

Continued Software Access: Free ongoing access to Affordable 360 platform following cohort completion, with no obligations or fees
