Description

The FCC AgriSpirit Fund supports rural communities (less than 150,000 people) across Canada. The fund focuses on capital projects that enrich the lives of community residents. There is a total of $1.5 million in funding available.

Project Examples:

  • Projects to support food recovery or reduction of food waste
  • Initiatives that support agriculture and food
  • Projects that reduce your environmental footprint
  • Projects that improve accessibility and inclusion
  • Construction of or upgrades to community buildings

Project Requirements:

  • Recognize FCC's contribution
  • Must be completed within two years of receiving funding with documented proof
  • Are capital projects that enrich the lives of community residents in communities of less than 150,000
  • Successfully pass FCC's background check

Geographic Eligibility:

  • Town, city, municipality, or First Nations, Inuit or Métis government/community under 150,000 people
